JUST IN CASE YOU DON'T GO HERE REGULARLY

If you have a moment...

gorgeous photos..........link is here

WHERE IS THE SUN

Normally I would be sitting in this chair, waiting for a bird to land or a rabbit to run out, so I could take a pic.

We are still in the "soup" of fog and clouds and have been for about four weeks.

I haven't been blogging much because there is not much to show for the last few weeks, no new photos and honestly, I just haven't been in the mood to figure out what to blog about.

But I feel a shift in my mood so I'm hoping it stays with me.

And now its' time to see what you have all been up to lately.

YES LITTLE BUNNY, YOU'RE WELCOME

Well, the rescues continue. I have lots of photos of rescues but I won't bore you with posting them, ha. This was the latest one, this morning.

One of the cats brought the bunny onto my atrium and had her cornered. Then the other cat came too. Both of them were ready to play or hurt this cutie.

After chasing the cats around trying to catch them, and this poor thing huddled in a corner, I managed to get the cats indoors, and then get a towel so I could pick her up without getting bit.

She was hardly moving for a few minutes, I think more scared than anything. I don't think they had time to injure her.

First I moved her out of the corner and put her out in the open on the deck so she could run away and she didn't. She just kept looking at me and let me pick her up and pet her. Then I took her off the deck and placed her on the little patio outside the deck, thinking she would run off. I went inside and got my camera. It wasn't until I came back out with the camera that she looked at me and ran off, seeming to be fine. I could only get one quick pic.

This last week continued with saving a few lizards and some more birds that the cats had just got, but didn't have time to injure (as far as I know). I have looked up bird rescue places in my area and can't find any so it's up to the birds to survive on their own, once I can get them away from the cats, if they still can fly.

Our weather has been very strange for June in California...and the last two weeks in May. We even had some wild thunderstorms which never happens and can't' in my memory ever remember a thunderstorm in June where we live, and we're lucky if we get them in July, or August. June is shaping up to be a busy month, with family coming in next week, and then we are leaving for about a week towards the middle to end of June to visit family. Hope your days are going great for all of you.

TWO RESCUES, ONE MADE IT ONE DIDN'T

Yesterday was eventful, rescued or tried to, two birds. The first photos show the one who made it and eventually after placing her back on the yucca plant, she flew away, the second one, never had a chance. She was barely breathing by the time we got to her.

A lizard was saved though...
